List of Main Characters

• Rintarō Okabe - (CV: Mamoru Miyano) a self-proclaimed mad scientist who usually refers to himself as "Kyōma Hōōin".
• Kurisu Makise - (CV: Asami Imai) Kurisu is an extremely talented neuroscience researcher, having had her research published in the Science academic journal at the young age of 18.
• Mayuri Shiina - (CV: Kana Hanazawa) is a long time childhood friend of Rintarō and is a bit of an airhead. Mayuri enjoys creating cosplay costumes and has a part-time job at a maid cafe.
• Itaru Hashida - (CV: Tomokazu Seki) an experienced hacker in both software and hardware technologies. He is also well-versed in things pertaining to otaku culture.
• Suzuha Amane - (CV: Yukari Tamura) works part-time for the landlord of Rintarō's flat and is on a search for her father in Akihabara. She enjoys riding her bicycle and appears to be at odds with Kurisu because it is said that she came from the year 2036 where the time machine is completed by Kurisu who is working for SERN.
• Ruka Urushibara - (CV: Yuu Kobayashi) is a bishōnen who looks strikingly like a girl and even wears the garment of a miko despite being a boy. He is a close friend of Mayuri and is often asked by her to try on her cosplay costumes.
• Feiris Nyannyan - (CV: Haruko Momoi) works at the maid cafe "Mayqueen Nyannyan", the same maid cafe that Mayuri works at, and is the most popular waitress there.
• Moeka Kiryū - (CV: Saori Gotou) is a tall girl that Rintarō bumps into in Akihabara and is on a search for the IBN 5100 personal computer. Moeka is extremely protective of her mobile phone and becomes agitated if someone tries to take it from her hands. She is very shy and prefers to talk to someone by sending them a text message instead of speaking.

Minor Characters

• 4°C (reads 'Sid') -(CV: Minoru Shiraishi). Sid is the leader of Viral Attackers, a delinquent players' group of Rai-net Access Batlers boardgame. His delusional gibberish rivals Rintarō's one.
• Woman of Sambo -(CV: Yuuko Ushida) a shopwoman of gyudon restaurant. She is known for warning "No Cell Phone".
• FES -(CV: Yui Sakakibara) is the lead vocalist of indie band Phantasm, from 5pb/nitroplus game Chaos;HEAd. She sings the endling theme of Steins;Gate.
• Lightning speed Knight-Hart, is the handle name of online-MMORPG player Takumi Nishijō, who is some what infamous in @channel. He is another character from the game Chaos;HEAd.
• Fubuki and Kirari. Mayuri's cosplay friends. Fubuki requested Mayuri to fix her costume which Mayuri had made for her.
• Mother and boy (CV: Toa Yukinari, Mai Hirano): On Manseibashi bridge at 13-Aug-2010 17:20, the two talked about white Shinkansen bullet train.
